E-design South London - Interior Design Malaga - Same Designer, Better Weather

Well… that escalated quickly.

One minute I’m juggling site visits across South London, the next I’m unpacking boxes in Málaga, wondering if I’ve completely lost the plot (jury’s still out). But here we are—new country, same business, same love for creating homes that actually feel good to live in.

If you’re searching for an interior designer in Málaga or are still very much based in South London, you’re in the right place. I’m now working across both—just with a bit more sunshine thrown in.

The Clapham Project: Controlled Chaos (Worth It) E-design South London - Interior Design Malagal

Let’s start with Clapham.

This one was a full-on transformation. Walls moved, layouts reworked, every decision questioned at least once (usually by me at 2am). The goal was to turn a slightly awkward space into something that flowed—somewhere that felt calm but still interesting.

We layered in warm textures, softened the harsher edges of the original layout, and created a home that actually works day to day—not just for photos.

And the before and after? Honestly, it’s one of those projects where even I have to double-take.

You can see the full transformation over on my Instagram here:👉 Link

The Barnes Project: Quiet Luxury, No Fuss

Barnes was a completely different mood.

Less “let’s knock everything down” and more “let’s get this exactly right.” Think calm, understated, and properly liveable. We focused on rental but cosy details, clever storage, and materials that feel as good as they look.

It’s one of those homes where nothing screams for attention, but everything just… works.

My Trades = My Lifeline

I cannot talk about these projects without talking about my trades.

They are the reason anything actually gets finished.

Good trades are hard to find, and I’ve been incredibly lucky to build a team in London who not only get it, but genuinely care. They’ve seen the chaos, the last-minute changes, the “what if we just…” ideas—and somehow still show up and make it happen.

Moving to Spain doesn’t mean leaving them behind. If anything, it’s made me appreciate them even more (and yes, I still message them constantly).

Moving to Málaga: Exciting, Slightly Terrifying

I won’t pretend this move has been all smooth sailing.

It’s exciting, yes—but also a bit “what have I done?” at times. New systems, new contacts, setting up a business from scratch again… It’s a lot.

But it’s also exactly what I needed.

Málaga has this energy - laid back but full of potential. And creatively, it’s already influencing how I design. A bit softer, a bit more relaxed… But still very much me.

Working With Me From London (Without Me Being There)

Here’s the important bit if you’re in London:

I’m still working with London clients. A lot. South London clients

My E-design service means we can work together wherever you are.

You get a full design plan, sourcing, layouts, everything you need… Just without me physically standing in your living room, pointing at things.

It works brilliantly if you want direction but also like having control of your own project.

And if you do need hands-on help? I’ve still got my trusted trades on the ground in London.

E-design South London - Interior Design Malaga

So… What Now?

Now it’s about building something new here in Málaga, while still staying connected to London - which, let’s be honest, I’m not quite ready to let go of anyway.

If you’re looking for:

  • An interior designer in Málaga

  • Help with a London home project - South London

  • Or a flexible E-design service you can use anywhere

I’d love to chat.

And if you want to see what I actually do (not just me talking about it), head to Instagram for all the before and afters:👉 LINK

New country, same standards. Just better freckles.
