Hello from sunny Spain! <3

It still feels surreal to write that. After years of building Arranged by Charlotte in London, my family and I have leapt and relocated to beautiful Spain. We're going to stay in the Alicante region for 6 weeks and then 6 weeks In the Malaga region to see where we want to settle down.

We drove here – yes, drove! – from London, dog, hubby, coffee cups and all, winding our way through France and into this new life under the Spanish sun.

The villa we’ve moved into already feels like home, but only for a while until the next location.

It’s filled with light, character, and the endless possibilities that come with a fresh start. But let me be real — it’s not just been palm trees and sangria. Starting a business in a new country is scary. It’s exciting, yes, but also full of unknowns.

I had my dream team in London — incredible suppliers, trustworthy tradespeople, and a rhythm that just worked. We built something strong over five years, and the idea of doing that all over again from scratch here is, well, daunting.

Will I find my people again? Will I build that same trust and magic?

And yet… this is what drives me. The thrill of creating. The joy of being onsite — managing the beautiful chaos of trades, deliveries, design choices, hiccups, and happy clients. It’s like conducting an orchestra, and it’s honestly one of the things I miss the most right now. Just writing about it makes me both happy and a little heartsick. #onsitejunky — it’s real!

But I’m not gone-gone. Through our E-Design service, Arranged by Charlotte is still very much alive in the UK. If you're in England and craving a little ABC magic, we’re just a call (and some mood boards) away.

This next chapter is about growth, change, and embracing the unknown. Spain has already opened my eyes to a new pace of life and a different way of working — especially when it comes to interior design and building regulations (and siestas… still getting used to those!). I’m learning, adjusting, and yes — still dreaming.

Thank you for sticking with me on this journey. Whether you’re a long-time client from London or someone new finding us from the Costa Blanca, I’m so excited for what’s to come.

Big hugs,

Charlotte
