Lounge vibe

This lovely family of 5 have a large lounge with two fireplaces, a high ceiling with Victorian skirting. The room has everything you want from a lounge in regards to the structure, Our job was easy as the canvas was fab. The client wanted lighting, some cosy feels, very sparse in terms of furniture as they have 3 children that like to play in there. 

As we couldn't play too much with furniture, wall art, plants or similar, we decided to do rectangle moulding and a dado rail around the whole room. painting that white and the walls blue to get some depth into the room. We added wall lights above the sofa area, wall mounted lights around the gold mirrors on the fireplaces. Kept the champagne coloured curtains and added a framed wall. We changed the old ceiling lights to gold chandeliers, they already had the ceiling roses so not much needed to be done there.
